Simona Scoffone

Simona is a certified Early Childhood Educator with a passion for child development and a love for play-based and child-centered approaches. Simona believes in the importance of focusing on the children’s unique strengths to support them in becoming confident individuals. Simona aims to create a safe, inclusive, and loving environment where children can explore, learn, and grow at their own pace.  Her passion for the field has led her to complete her Bachelor’s Degree in Child and Youth Care through the University of Victoria. Simona has worked with children and families for over fifteen years, and all over the world! In her free time, you’ll find her adventuring on the North Shore trails.

Christie Vavasour

Christie is a certified Early Childhood Educator and Special Needs Educator. She has over fifteen years of experience working in the ECE field and brings with her a passion for quality care and education. Christie values community, and how it fosters a sense of well-being and belonging for children and families. Christie aims to create warm, inclusive spaces, which foster curiosity in children. She believes that all children are capable in their uniqueness and aims to be sensitive to the diverse ways of learning and being. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her partner and two children exploring the many beautiful parks and beaches throughout Vancouver.
